March 30, 2020: To our patients and friends of Melbourne Periocare
In light of our commitment to our patients’ health and safety we have made the difficult decision to close our practice to physical patient appointments from close of business today, Monday 30th March. This is an effort to limit non-essential outings out of your residences and help in turn to control the spread of COVID-19/ coronavirus. This is our small way to help flatten the curve and at the same time keeping our periodontics family safe. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and hope to re-open our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.
We appreciate that a number of patient appointments have been affected and we will do our best to reschedule appointments in a timely fashion. We would like to ensure all our patients that all efforts would be made to stay in contact with them during this trying time.
Dr Kataria will be conducting virtual appointments with some of our patients where appropriate. Our specialist periodontist will be virtually reviewing your gum condition and teeth, via email or other online face to face systems to consult and advice.
We humbly request you not to inundate our phones but wait for us to contact you. Our team will contact patients who require their appointments to be rescheduled in appointment date order over the coming weeks. We appreciate your understanding and patience as our dedicated front desk team work with Dr Kataria to determine the best management of each individual patient’s treatment.
For any emergencies, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of your concern or alternatively please call us on 98171860, so that a team member could provide you with some advice.
In this period our new patient consultations can be carried out virtually and free of cost !
For any further enquires, please contact us on 98171860 or email us at info@melbourneperiocare. com.au.
At this time we would be regularly placing updates on our website and social media and we would like to invite you to follow us on these platforms to stay informed.
We seek your patience while we work through looking after our patient community during this crucial time.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support during this unprecedented times and look forward to seeing you back safe and well in the near future.
